This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of circular bioeconomy initiatives across the region, with Sarawak positioned as a regional hub, while gaining hands-on experience across multiple corporate functions within an international and growing organization.
Scope of work
This position covers a range of corporate functions, including HR, General Affairs, Administration, and Accounting. The specific scope of work will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, capabilities, and career aspirations. Candidates are not expected to handle all responsibilities listed below, and are encouraged to apply if they have experience in any of the following areas.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
HR (Human Resources)
– Recruitment coordination and onboarding of employees
– Payroll administration and employee data management
– Labor management, including attendance and leave administration
– Administration of social security (EPF, SOCSO, etc.) and employee benefits
– Work pass application and management, including Employment Pass (EP) and Professional Visit Pass (PVP)
– Training, performance management, and employee development
General Affairs
– Office and facility management, including lease and utilities coordination
– Corporate administration and support for internal policies and procedures
– Liaison with external parties such as government authorities, service providers, and landlords
– Support for corporate compliance and basic legal documentation
– Management of company assets, inventory, insurance, and general administrative functions
General Administration
– Reception duties and visitor coordination
– Handling correspondence, documentation, and filing
– Day-to-day office administrative support
– Coordination of office supplies and basic procurement
– Assistance in internal event and meeting arrangements
– Support logistics and general operational requirements across the organization
Accounting
– Monthly closing and financial reporting
– Cash management and payment processing
– Accounts receivable and accounts payable management
– Support for budgeting and financial planning
– Tax compliance (domestic and international) and audit support
– Support for consolidation reporting (if applicable)
