On February 26, the Reception to Celebrate the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan was hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia and the Embassy of Japan in Brunei. Chitose Agri Laboratory and Chitose Algae Farm were honored to be invited for the second consecutive year as part of the Japanese corporate promotion initiative in each country.
■ Chitose Agri Laboratory (Embassy of Japan in Malaysia)
The ceremony welcomed over 500 distinguished guests, including Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli and Speaker of the House of Representatives Johari Abdul.
CHITOSE exhibited at the official residence chef’s booth alongside global food manufacturer KEWPIE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. (hereinafter “Kewpie”) and SECAI MARCHE Inc., a company building a new fresh food supply network across Southeast Asia. Guests had the opportunity to enjoy fresh Japanese vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers grown by CHITOSE in Malaysia, served with Kewpie’s mayonnaise and dressings.
■ Chitose Algae Farm (Embassy of Japan in Brunei)
The reception was attended by numerous guests, including Minister of Health Dr. Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, government officials, representatives from the economic, academic, and cultural sectors, members of the diplomatic corps, and Japanese residents in Brunei.
CHITOSE participated as one of the Japanese companies contributing to Brunei’s economic development. The booth showcased food products made with locally cultivated spirulina, and introduced MATSURI along with the company’s expanding initiatives in Brunei.
