CHITOSE Group Participated in MAHA2024, Southeast Asia’s Premier Agricultural Exhibition

CHITOSE Group participated in the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture & Agrotourism Show (MAHA2024) held from Wednesday, September 11th to Sunday, 22nd. Founded in 1923, MAHA is the largest agricultural exhibition in Southeast Asia. Through a wide range of exhibits and activities it aims to widely communicate the importance of agriculture to visitors.

This year, under the theme of “Harvesting Tomorrow Where Dreams Blossom”, the exhibition focused on the importance of technological innovation to ensure food security in Malaysia, bringing together participants from various countries.

From September 14th to 18th, CHITOSE Group exhibited its agricultural solutions, including unique environmental and soil sensors, a compost production plant, and a pest mapping system. CHITOSE also introduced visitors to the CHITOSE Agriculture Initiative” project, and offered tastings of sustainably grown tomatoes.

CHITOSE Group is dedicated to producing delicious and safe crops through sustainable practices that preserve farmland ecosystems and soil health, fulfilling the vision of the “CHITOSE Agriculture Initiative”. This initiative operates in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, and will further promote its efforts in various regions of Southeast Asia.

It emphasizes empowerment of local farming communities and the importance of soil quality, particularly by nurturing microorganisms vital to its fertility. The initiative is active in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
