CHITOSE Group, Prodezi Long An Corporation and TA Vital Join Forces to Build a Sustainable Industrial Park in Vietnam

CHITOSE BIO EVOLUTION PTE. LTD., a global leader in the bioeconomy and the headquarters of the CHITOSE Group (hereinafter CHITOSE), is pleased to announce its collaboration with Prodezi Long An Corporation to develop circular wastewater treatment solutions for Prodezi Long An Ecological Industrial Park (Prodezi IP), with support from TA Vital, a company specializing in algae-derived dietary supplements. The three parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on October 23.

Prodezi IP, spanning 400 hectares in Long An Province, will be the first and largest eco-industrial park in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region, attracting over USD 180 million in investment.

Since its founding in Japan, CHITOSE has focused on creating sustainable technologies and business solutions to address social challenges. The group has a global presence and a successful history of projects in areas such as sustainable agriculture, biomass recycling, and water treatment for palm plantations in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Thailand.

Through its collaboration with Prodezi, CHITOSE will leverage its expertise and advanced technologies in the treatment of organic wastewater, the production of functional organic compost from organic materials, and cultivation of plants using soilless organic hydroponics systems. CHITOSE’s extensive experience in providing these solutions for major palm plantations, aquariums, and resort management will be instrumental in developing the Prodezi IP.
