Honoured to be invited by Sarawak Energy, CHITOSE participated in the fourth edition of the Sustainability and Renewable Energy Forum (SAREF4.0) as an exhibitor. Held in Sarawak, Malaysia on September 3rd and 4th, the flagship event was dedicated to sparking discussions and building alliances for a sustainable future.
Displayed items included microalgal derivatives and 3D-printed prototypes featuring microalgae-infused filaments
The event convened over 1,000 high-profile delegates including leaders from the Sarawak and Federal Governments, senior officials, elected representatives, policymakers, international experts, industry professionals, scholars, and civil society representatives.
The CHITOSE booth welcomed the SEB Chairman, Dato Haji Ibrahim Haji Baki, offering a sensory experience of microalgae-integrated 3D-printed company logo
CHITOSE exhibited as part of the Circular Economy Pavilion, showcasing its large scale cultivation technology and microalgae-based solutions as part of MATSURI, a cross-industry initiative driving the global bioeconomy forward, while underscoring its commitment to reducing carbon emissions through the innovative use of microalgae.
Continuing its mission, CHITOSE is in the process of expanding its microalgae cultivation facility from 5 hectares*1 to a 100-hectares operation*2 in Sarawak. It is an endeavour made possible through the unwavering support of the Sarawak Government, reinforcing their joint commitment to advancing the circular economy in Sarawak.
Building on this initiative, CHITOSE and the Sarawak Government will further strengthen their collaboration and advance the creation of new industries driven by microalgae.
