Data Scientist(Bioinformatics researcher)[Intelligence analysis]

You will be engaged in projects that utilizes analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning (including a wide range of techniques such as deep learning and reinforcement learning) to analyze various biological data collected by the CHITOSE Group. Ex. We are working on projects such as analysis of multivariate culture data continuously output from multiple sensors and integrated omics analysis of microbiota-derived data such as metagenomes and metabolomes.

  • Business outline

    You will be engaged in projects that Culture data that contains novel sensing device data developed by CHITOSE will be analyzed by machine learning and other analytical methods to generate control values for temperature, pH, and other parameters that optimize culture conditions. Based on this information, the model and data are further improved through discussions with bioprocess engineers and verification of additional data from AI-guided culture experiment. This process ultimately yields valuable insights that assist in achieving objectives such as improving productivity to bioprocess engineers.

  • Application Requirements

    ・Graduated Master degree in biological sciences or informatics.

    ・Experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning using statistics, or a strong interest in acquiring such skills after joining the company.

    ・No resistance to manipulate PC with CUI.

    ・No resistance with mathematical formula.

    ・Japanese languge (Business level / JLPT N2, N1 level)

    • Salary

      Annual salary system: 3 million to 12 million yen

    • Remarks about the salary

      Fair compensation will be given according to our regulations, after consideration of experience and ability. Includes 44 hours of deemed overtime charge per month. The amount of annual salary divided by 12 is the monthly salary.
